Two Types of Progression
In-Battle Progression
Temporary advancement within a single game session:
- Rank 0 to Rank 6 during match
- Unlocks movement range increases
- Earns bonus lives and chips
- Resets when game ends
How it works: Earn XP through correct predictions and bonuses. Hit XP thresholds to rank up. Each rank brings tactical advantages for that game only.
Strategic impact: Early ranks are easy, helping struggling players stay competitive. Later ranks require sustained success. Creates comeback mechanics and rewards consistency within matches.
Career Progression
Permanent advancement tied to your wallet:
- Every ranked game recorded forever
- Global leaderboard position
- Lifetime statistics tracked
- Future perks in development
How it works: Your wallet address is your permanent identity. Every Arena entry, every Match played, all GP earned - permanently recorded on the blockchain and compared globally.
Strategic impact: Choose your wallet carefully - this is your permanent gaming identity. No resets, no transfers. Build reputation through consistent performance across hundreds of games.
Lives System
Starting Lives & Loss Conditions
Starting allocation: 10 lives per game
Life loss triggers:
- Wrong prediction: -1 life
- No movement (inactive): -1 life
- Correct prediction: No loss
- Elimination: 0 lives remaining
How it works: Lives are your mistakes allowance. Each wrong prediction costs one life. Reach zero and you're eliminated but can spectate. No way to earn lives back currently (bonus lives through ranks coming soon).
Strategic impact: Early game focuses on survival over big plays. With 10 lives and 60% accuracy, expect ~25 rounds of play. Premium on consistency over risk-taking until late game.
Chip Economy
Earning and Spending GP
Earning GP (per correct prediction):
- Base: 25 GP
- Plus all active bonuses
- Permanent in ranked games
- Carries across all games
Chip Costs:
- RESTORE: 100 GP (4 correct predictions)
- GUARD: 200 GP (8 correct predictions)
- ATTACK: 300 GP (12 correct predictions)
How it works: GP earned in-game can immediately purchase chips for that same game. In ranked modes, GP permanently adds to your wallet balance for future games.
Strategic impact: First few rounds are "naked" - no chips available. By round 10, active players have chip options. Chip economy creates power progression within matches.
Chip Inventory Management
Current system:
- Buy chips mid-game with earned GP
- Use one chip per round maximum
- Chip activates only if prediction correct
- Failed prediction wastes chip
How it works: Open chip menu during MOVEMENT phase, purchase with available GP, immediately available for use. No carrying chips between games currently.
Strategic impact: Balance immediate chip usage versus saving GP for critical moments. ATTACK chips are expensive but game-changing. RESTORE chips are cheap but situational.
Rank System (In Development)
Current Rank Structure
Ranks within each game:
- Rank 0: Starting (0 XP)
- Rank 1: 100 XP
- Rank 2: 300 XP
- Rank 3: 600 XP
- Rank 4: 1000 XP
- Rank 5: 1500 XP
- Rank 6: 2000+ XP
How it works: XP earned through correct predictions and bonuses. Rank displayed next to username. Resets every game - everyone starts equal.
Strategic impact: Visual indicator of who's performing well. Higher ranks become psychological targets. No gameplay advantages yet but system framework exists.

Movement Range System (Coming Soon)
Base Movement Rules
Current system:
- Move to any adjacent platform
- 8 possible directions (including diagonals)
- Same range for all players
- Cannot move through occupied platforms
How it works: During MOVEMENT phase, click any adjacent platform to move there. Your previous platform becomes neutral. Movement is your prediction.
Strategic impact: Central platforms access 8 options, edge platforms access 3-5. Position affects flexibility. Crowded grids create movement puzzles.
Planned Range Scaling
Future progression:
- Rank 0-1: Adjacent only (current)
- Rank 2-3: 2 platform range
- Rank 4-5: 3 platform range
- Rank 6: 4 platform range
How it works: Higher ranks can move further in single turn, accessing distant platforms. Creates strategic advantage for successful players.
Strategic impact: Changes entire game dynamic. Long-range movement enables surprise attacks, quick escapes, and rapid territory expansion. Makes rank progression crucial.
Fog of War (In Development)
Vision System Concept
Planned visibility mechanics:
- See platforms within movement range clearly
- Partial vision of extended area
- Global events visible to all
- Chip usage affects vision
How it works: Your rank and position determine what you can see. Higher ranks see further. GUARD chips might grant vision. ATTACK requires target visibility.
Strategic impact: Adds information warfare layer. Building territory in fog keeps it hidden. Scouting becomes strategic choice. Surprise attacks possible.
Career Statistics
Tracked Metrics
Your permanent record includes:
- Total games played
- Win rate percentage
- Total GP earned lifetime
- Best single-game score
- Longest prediction streak

- Favorite market/pace
- Global ranking
How it works: Every ranked game updates your career stats. Publicly viewable profile tied to wallet address. Leaderboards sortable by various metrics.

Leaderboard System
